Felicity Jones is an British actress best known in the role of Jane Hawking in the critically popular film The Theory of Everything. Jones, who has been an actress since she was 12, has appeared in many TV series and movies. Her professional career began in the Television film The Treasure Seekers. She then played the role of Ethel Hallow another television show named The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. Her debut film, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in many films. Her acting made her famous through films like The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. However, it was her role in The Theory of Everything that earned her the Oscar for the very first time. Jones was highly praised by the public and critics because she played the character of Hawking's wife as she appeared in The Theory of Everything, a Stephen Hawking biopic. The film was followed by Inferno a thriller starring Tom Hanks. Jones was awarded her the British Artist of year award in the year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles.
