Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th 1964. She was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. The age she is now at is 58. Sandra Kolber was her mother as was Gene Kolber was her father. Her school was Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher Pennsylvania and is a 1982 student at Penn's Upper Dublin High School. She earned an Associate of Arts In telecommunications 1986 from University of Miami. In her first year of college, she landed the job as a sports director at Dynamic located in Coral Gables Florida. She was also employed by Dynamic Cable for two years, between 1984 and 1986. During this period she was also a part of the water ski team at The University of Miami. Plaza was active in Wilmington community theatre as a child, where she was a part of improv groups, staged one-act plays, and was involved in various other events. Her move from Wilmington to New York City after high school, where she took classes in television and film production at New York University Tisch School of the Arts and took classes in improv and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In her 20s, she experienced a stroke that caused an acute expressive aphasia (a deficiency in the expression and comprehension of the language).
